Zoo Safari The Zoo Safari of Fasano (Brindisi) in Puglia is the first zoo wildlife park in Italy, and one of the largest in terms of number of species in Europe. The Zoo Safari wildlife park welcomes about 1700 specimens of 200 different species, in a vast Mediterranean scrub that extends for about 140 hectares. The park was opened in 1973 with only the faunal part.
